Agones Mobile

Agones.gr is one of Greece's most popular destinations for football coverage, offering live scores, news, predictions, and betting information all in one place. The desktop site was well established, but mobile users were getting a second-class experience.

Our job was to bring everything Agones offers to iOS and Android without compromise. That meant designing native-feeling interfaces for both platforms while keeping the depth of content and functionality that desktop users were used to.

Sports content adds a particular layer of complexity to mobile design. Scores change in real time, match days drive sudden spikes in traffic and engagement, and users are often checking the app in short bursts rather than sitting down for a long session. The interface needed to surface the most time-sensitive information immediately, while still giving users a clear path to the deeper content they came for.

We used Figma throughout to build out all mockups and interactive prototypes, which gave the Agones team a clear picture of how the final product would look and behave before any code was written. That early alignment made the handoff to development significantly smoother and kept the design and build in sync from start to finish.
